Job Summary:

The Technical Sales Manager will Meet order intake targets and own the installed base with a vision to provide value through intangible skills, expertise, and relationship quoting parts and services with every customer touchpoint. Duties include taking inbound calls for troubleshooting and promotion of all Nederman MikroPul offerings: service, inspections, parts, IoT, new equipment, system upgrades, etc. The Service Manager is also responsible for writing quotes for service work and service agreements for work involving troubleshooting, repair, and inspections of all Mikropul, Luwa and Gas Turbine equipment and systems. Review inspection reports from service technicians and follow up quotes for repair parts and labor. Work with customers setting up and upgrading their control Systems to our new control products. Work with customers, aftermarket parts team and technicians servicing the Nederman FS filter product line. Responsible for startup, balancing, and commission of all major projects and retrofits.

Main Tasks and Responsibilities

  • Manage the assessment/service/ inspection process from start to finish. Take inbound troubleshooting calls, promote service work, understand buying history before quoting, quote inspection and price according to buying history and potential to grow share of wallet with customer, review assessment report and quote parts, upgrades, new equipment based on findings, schedule follow up in CRM to ensure customer loyalty.
  • Immediately responds to customer requests for emergency service when equipment is shut down. Provide phone technical assistance to customers and co-workers for troubleshooting.
  • Review Inspection reports, write quotes, and other administrative sales work. May involve site visits where required to quote effectively or to manage customer expectations.
  • Promote and prepare quotes for repair parts, recommended spare parts, and additional service labor from inspection reports – includes sales efforts in promoting parts, service, new equipment, retrofits, upgrades, MikroPul-Assist, Clean-Air-As-A-Service, etc.
  • Review expenses and labor hours ensure billing is correct. Enter technicians’ weekly hours into JDE. Approve expense reports in Concur.
  • Other duties as determined appropriate for the position.

Qualifications

Your Experience & Education

  • Bachelor’s Degree in technical field or equivalent experience.
  • Ten or more years of experience in relevant field.
  • OSHA 30, OSHA 10, MSHA New Miner certifications highly preferred.
