Description

RMA is seeking a Patient Services Coordinator (Southern NJ Float) whose primary location will be our Somerset, NJ office.

This position requires travel between our Somerset, Eatontown, Freehold, Princeton and Marlton offices.

This is a Full-Time opportunity working Monday - Friday from 5:30 AM - 1:30 PM and/or 8:30 AM to 4:30 PM depending on the shift needed, one weekend a month out of the Eatontown, NJ location as well as rotating holidays.


Responsibilities include:
Welcome and greet patients and visitors
Maximize new patient intake opportunities
Follow physician appointment templates
Assess schedule conflicts and provide recommended solutions
Maintain patient accounts by obtaining, recording, and updating patient demographic, financial and insurance information
Collect co-pays and patient payments
Work with the nurses to coordinate total patient care
Collaborate with the Finance Department to ensure all reimbursement/insurance information has been received
Maintain a professional composed demeanor
Comfort patients by anticipating patients' anxieties; answering patients' questions
Maintain a safe, clean and comfortable reception environment at all times

Skills & Requirements:
High energy, excellent interpersonal and multi-tasking skills, and demonstrated self-directed work ethic are required.
Must be willing to travel to our South Jersey sites on limited notice
Minimum 1 year experience as a medical office receptionist
Excellent listening/interpersonal, and communication skills
Aptitude to work independently and demonstrate good judgment
Ability to work in a high standard, stressful environment
Must be available to work weekends and overtime as needed
Must be available to rotate to RMANJ satellite offices as needed
