Responsibilities
  • Greet and assist patients in the medical office, ensuring a positive experience
  • Handle phone calls and schedule appointments efficiently
  • Register new patients and update records accurately
  • Collect patient financial responsibilities daily and maintain confidentiality
  • Manage insurance verifications and authorizations, as well as process Workers' Compensation and Auto claim submissions
  • Perform other duties as assigned by management
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Completion of a medical assistant certificate program is a plus
  • 1+ years of experience as a medical receptionist/administrative assistant
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Excellent interpersonal communication skills
  • Ability to work independently or collaboratively
  • Willingness to travel to different JAG locations as required
