NAHT is a Christ-centered team of intervention specialists committed to rescuing and restoring women and children from the bondage of human trafficking. Our mission is to provide comprehensive support and services to those in need, helping them rebuild their lives with dignity and hope.
Position Overview:
We seek a seasoned and action-oriented Executive Assistant to join our dedicated team. The ideal person is well-organized, engaged, highly detailed, and willing to commit to this position and our mission. This role is crucial in supporting our Executive Director and furthering the goals of our organization.
Key Responsibilities:
· Manage the Executive Director's calendar, appointments, and travel arrangements.
· Schedule and coordinate meetings, including preparing agendas and taking minutes.
· Learn and utilize Little Green Light donor software to generate relevant reports for presentations and assist the ED with other software-related tasks.
· Create and edit presentations, donor letters, and other materials.
· Run reports and prepare packets for Board meetings and other monthly reports.
· Handle confidential information with discretion and professionalism.
· Assist with planning and executing donor events as needed.
· Engage in daily staff devotionals and contribute to the organization's scripture focus.
· Organize and prioritize emails and respond on behalf of the ED with professionalism.
· Write thank-you letters and other correspondence on behalf of the ED.
· Think ahead to prepare necessary documents and spot potential scheduling conflicts.
· Step in as hostess for tours when the ED is not available. Organize and manage time effectively, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines consistently.
· Communicate clearly in person, by text, and by email, and interact effectively with diverse stakeholders, including internal staff, board members, donors, volunteers and external partners.
· Work independently and collaboratively as part of a team, demonstrating a proactive and flexible approach to tasks and challenges.
Qualifications:
- Commitment to the mission and values of our Christ-centered organization.
- A current and active member of a local church
- Five years of experience as an Executive Assistant, preferably within a nonprofit or mission-driven organization.
- Availability to work between 8:30 am and 5:00 pm, Monday to Friday, and occasional nights or weekends as needed.
- Highly proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and other software, including Canva.
- Experience using AI tools and technologies to enhance productivity and efficiency.
- Given the nature of our work, you must be engaged with a therapist or be willing to start therapy. Our demographic often carries intense trauma, and discussions involving challenging situations are frequent due to our rescue efforts.
