Role Description

This position is for a full-time hybrid role as VP of Channel Success—US at Tango Networks. The VP of Channel Success will oversee the maintenance and expansion of channel sales, establish strategic partnerships with channel associates, and supervise marketing initiatives.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead and expand the US regional Sales Team responsible for engaging, activating, launching, and supporting committed, loyal, and scalable Channel Partners aligned with Tango's Success Framework.
  • Collaborate with the SVP for Global Sales and Marketing to define the regional OSTSM – Objectives, Strategy, Tactics, Support, Measures to surpass Tango's growth objectives.
  • Work closely with the regionally situated sales resources of our strategic UC vendor partners.
  • Develop and expand Tango's presence in the Unified Communication sector, especially in the Microsoft and Cisco domains.
  • Comprehend our Channel Partners' businesses and devise strategies and incentives to ensure their success in constructing and delivering a business pipeline with predetermined growth strategies.
  • Continuously evaluate, clarify, and validate Channel Partner requirements.
  • Collect market data and pinpoint untapped market potential.
  • Monitor, assess, and report on Channel Partner efficiency against objectives and modify programs and strategies when necessary.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally internally to ensure messaging consistency, operational synchronization, and advocacy of Channel Partner success strategy.
  • Organize and conduct ongoing Sales Success Training for Channel Partners.
  • Cooperate with Channel Partner marketing to guarantee the implementation of initiatives and events to drive leads, pipeline, and deal advancement. Develop joint messaging and value propositions that emphasize mutually beneficial relationships and value to the end customer, in addition to repeatable sales empowerment programs and toolkits.
  • Coordinate and cooperate with Tango's Strategic Partners to synchronize mutual business advantages.

Experience Requirements

  • Understand the Microsoft Operator Connect and Direct Routing, as well as the Cisco CCP Partner ecosystems.
  • Show progressive leadership experience on a global scale within the communications (Microsoft Teams Phone, Cisco Webex Calling) industry.
  • Have experience establishing and overseeing Channel programs.
  • Demonstrate a successful track record in strategic channel planning by managing sales targets and forecasts.
  • Work in a sales-oriented company experiencing high growth. Possess a strong ability to engage and influence effectively with the Tango leadership team and Executives.
  • Show a history of recruiting and empowering top talents.
  • Quickly grasp technical concepts and communicate them to audiences with various technical knowledge levels.
  • Excellent time management and written/verbal communication skills.
  • Be willing to travel regionally and globally as needed.
  • Share common values and beliefs with the company.

Performance Indicators

  • Similar to all sales positions, the VP of Channel Success will set KPIs for their team that align with the broader Company KPIs focusing on growth.
