Senior Channel Finance Analyst:
Fortinet is seeking a proactive and enthusiastic Senior Finance Analyst to become a vital member of the Worldwide Sales Finance team.

The ideal candidate will possess a forward-thinking mindset and a strong commitment to enhancing the team's evaluation of Fortinet's channel investment strategies.

In this role, you will be essential in maintaining the financial vitality of our Channel operations.

Your contributions will support Fortinet's growth objectives, both in revenue and profitability, by applying innovative approaches to financial management, similar to our approach with products and services.

You will deliver precise and timely insights on financial trends and aid in the oversight of channel programs. Consequently, the successful candidate should have a solid understanding of finance, accounting, business principles, and analytical skills.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist US Channel Management in making informed investment choices.
  • Facilitate the ongoing development of investment guidelines across the organization.
  • Provide timely insights and updates regarding performance and return on investment.
  • Compile, organize, summarize, and analyze financial data, including business, customer, and market information, to create comprehensive management reports.
  • Identify trends through thorough analysis.
  • Coordinate, manage, and monitor outcomes for channel initiatives.

Essential Qualifications:
  • A bachelor's degree in a relevant field (such as Accounting, Finance, Economics, Mathematics, or Business) is required; an advanced degree is preferred.
  • Proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, Tableau, and financial software applications.
  • Experience in effectively collaborating with business and operational stakeholders.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills; capable of compiling and presenting data, insights, and recommendations to diverse audiences, including senior management.
  • Ability to thrive in an unstructured environment, manage ambiguity, handle multiple assignments concurrently, and provide clarity and organization.
  • Experience working with distribution and channel partners is essential.
  • Self-motivated with a strong attention to detail.
  • Adaptability to changing environments and business requirements.
  • Ability to collaborate across various departments within Fortinet, including Sales, Marketing, Channel, and Finance.
  • A solid understanding of profit and loss elements and familiarity with forecasting and closing processes is advantageous.
