Key Responsibilities:
  • Own the RFP business development process and deliver integrated marketing solutions that scale across all accounts.
  • Act as a thought-leader for the LGM IMT team and its clients, providing expertise in retail brand marketing, project management, external communications, and marketing campaigns.
  • Lead the development of LGM business, strategic marketing, and communication decks to showcase our capabilities and deliver key information to clients and partnerships.
  • Own the consumer journey, brand narrative, and client relationships, driving seasonal product storytelling across the omni-channel experience.
  • Compile annual marketing plans and analyze their effectiveness, providing analytical insights to inform future merchandising activities.
  • Work in partnership with the IMT team, program leads, and merchandise team to identify key apparel items, assortments, and collections to elevate across the omni-channel ecosystem.
  • In partnership with the ecomm team, define on-site product assortment through retail brand photography, copy direction, and site business planning to drive revenue.
  • Develop strong communication skills through effective verbal and written presentation.
  • Monitor competitive programs and analyze consumer marketplace trends, understanding current trends in specific cities within our client base.
  • Have working knowledge of email marketing, social media marketing, and online advertising.
  • Effectively manage merchandising budgets to deliver plans and stay within budget.
  • Be a team player and contribute to the general success of Legends Global Merchandising across all facets.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree required, preferably in marketing, communications, business, or a related field.
  • Minimum of seven (7) years of high-level experience in retail brand marketing and/or sports and entertainment marketing with proven leadership in personally directing major clients' initiatives.
  • Hands-on, strong leader with a demonstrated track record in driving business results and developing a brand through strategic and tactical marketing efforts.
  • Extraordinary project management skills and the ability to manage multiple ongoing projects simultaneously.
  • B2B & B2C marketing excellence; trend awareness and execution being critical.
  • Expertise in identifying opportunities, developing strategies, and negotiating creative solutions.
  • Retail Brand Marketing, Agency, Merchandise, and/or sports operational background, a plus.
  • Strong interpersonal and leadership abilities with excellent communication skills (written and oral).
  • High energy, passionate personality that thrives in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment.
  • Strong work ethic with the ability to multi-task and a competitive drive to win.
  • Ability to develop creative proposals that meet and exceed potential partners' needs.
  • Ability to quickly earn and maintain trust and build consensus in an ambiguous work environment.
  • Ability to develop strong peer-level relationships and excel in a collaborative, team-oriented environment.
