Required Skills & Experience

Must Haves:

  • Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering
  • Minimum 9 years of experience in Geotechnical/Construction Materials Engineering.
  • PE License (nonnegotiable)
Nice to Have Skills & Experience

Day to Day Responsibilities:

  • Leading a team of about 56 direct reports within materials testing.
  • While leading a team day to day this VP with also be coordinating and meeting with clients.
  • Working internally with other department managers (in Austin and San Antonio) to obtain additional personnel and equipment.
  • Play a role in developing proposals and statements. (technical and cost proposals)
  • Work with stakeholders to maintain relationships and satisfactory results.
  • Track expenses and budget for CoMET team.
  • Approve and sign of on proposals.
  • Develop Quarterly and Annual plans for CoMET.
  • Performance evaluations for unit staff

Softwares:
CAD and Smartsheets.
