Position Summary:
We are seeking a skilled professional to join our team as a Geotechnical Operations Manager. This role is pivotal in upholding the established policies and guidelines of our organization while enhancing client relations and overseeing operational activities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead a dedicated team of approximately 5-6 direct reports within the materials testing sector.
  • Provide training and mentorship to staff, ensuring adherence to established procedures.
  • Collaborate with other department managers to secure additional personnel and resources.
  • Support project managers in business development initiatives and client engagement.
  • Monitor expenses and manage the budget for the CoMET team.
  • Assist with issue resolution and accounts receivable processes.
  • Conduct monthly financial forecasting.
  • Participate in the annual budgeting process for the CoMET unit.

Technical Skills:
Proficiency in CAD and Smartsheets is essential for this role.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering.
  • A minimum of 9 years of experience in Geotechnical or Construction Materials Engineering.
  • Possession of a PE License is mandatory.
  • Potential for advancement into a Vice President role or the ability to manage both Department Manager and Vice President responsibilities with a competitive salary.
