Artificial Intelligence Solution Architect

Key Role:

Designs and implements effective AI solution architecture and strategy utilizing approaches of various AI technologies and methods to address clients' business problems and needs, while complying with the organization’s strategies and business goals. Applies advanced consulting skills and extensive technical expertise and full industry knowledge. Develops innovative solutions to complex problems. Works without considerable direction. Mentors and supervises team members. Leads the design, development, and deployment of production-ready generative AI software for DoD applications as a highly skilled Technical AI Solutions Architect. Possesses deep technical expertise in AI and machine learning, with a focus on generative models. Thinks strategically and bridges the gap between technical implementation and mission objectives, ensuring scalable and robust AI solutions that meet DoD standards. Leads the architecture and design of production-ready generative AI software solutions for DoD projects. Collaborates with cross-functional teams, including data scientists, engineers, program managers, and DoD stakeholders to define technical requirements and solution architecture. Develops and implement scalable AI models and algorithms, with a focus on generative AI techniques such as GANs, VAEs, and transformers. Ensures the robustness, scalability, and performance of AI solutions through rigorous testing and validation. Provides technical leadership and mentorship to engineering and software development teams. Stays current with the latest advancements in AI and machine learning and incorporate relevant technologies and methodologies into solution designs. Drives the end-to-end lifecycle of AI projects, from initial concept through to deployment and ongoing optimization in production environments. Leads discussions and solution the scaling of Gen Ai applications to novel platforms. Collaborates with DoD partners to understand their needs and translate them into effective AI solutions. Ensures compliance with data privacy, security, and CI/CD pipelines in AI solution development and deployment, adhering to DoD regulations and guidelines.

Basic Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of experience in AI and machine learning, with a focus on generative AI models

  • Experience managing a team that executes and delivers AI application solutions

  • Experience in designing and deploying production-ready AI solutions

  • Experience deploying solutions on prem, in cloud

  • Secret clearance

  • Bachelor’s degree

Additional Qualifications:

  • Experience deploying solutions on edge devices

  • Experience in designing and deploying production-ready AI solutions within the defense sector

  • Master's degree preferred; Doctorate degree a plus

Clearance:

Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information; Secret clearance is required.

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $96,600.00 to $220,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.
