Job Overview: As the Chief Revenue Officer (CRO), you will be at the forefront of driving our revenue growth and market expansion. Reporting directly to the CEO, you will be a key member of our Holdings c-suite team, responsible for shaping and executing our revenue strategy across a diverse and rapidly evolving portfolio of venture businesses. This is a unique opportunity to lead, innovate, and make a significant impact on our ambitious journey.


Key Responsibilities:


Strategic Leadership & Growth:

  • Develop and implement comprehensive revenue growth strategies aligned with SSA Holdings' vision and each venture company’s market drivers.
  • Ensure each entity/venture has a multi-year strategic business plan and 12-month action plan to identify and unlock value, facilitating processes to develop additional plans as needed and revising them quarterly.
  • Oversee and coordinate sales, marketing, and business development efforts across all ventures and new investments, continually seeking opportunities to accelerate the path to $1 billion in total revenue. Prioritizing first our digital venture companies.


Performance Optimization:

  • Assess overall and specific approaches to sales, people, and pipeline across SSA’s companies. Set and maintain a regular cadence for assessment and managing internal alignment.
  • Identify needs to shift market strategy, messaging, and staffing, optimizing sales strategies, improving team performance, and strengthening the sales pipeline.
  • Serve as a strategic mentor for a high-performing and cross-functional team of sales, marketing, and business development professionals.
  • Foster a culture of curiosity, innovation, collaboration, and inclusivity within the revenue teams.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers, partners, and stakeholders.


Innovation for the Future:

  • Establish and manage key performance indicators (KPIs) to track and optimize revenue performance.
  • Create systems to collect and analyze sales impact data to drive market-responsive strategies going forward.
  • Present revenue performance reports and growth projections to the executive team and board of directors as needed.
  • Collaborate with product development teams to ensure offerings meet market demands and drive sales.
  • Support corporate investment strategy development with the CEO and other leaders, providing counsel on identifying and evaluating potential acquisitions to enhance the company’s portfolio and drive revenue growth.
  • Participate in fundraising meetings as needed to seek additional investment, supporting the development of fundraising materials and participating in investor presentations as appropriate.


Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Finance, or a related field; MBA or advanced degree preferred.
  • Proven experience as a Chief Revenue Officer or similar executive role in a diverse holding company or multi-industry environment.
  • Strong understanding of various industries within a holding company's portfolio.
  • Demonstrated success in developing and executing innovative revenue growth strategies.
  • Proven track record in venture fundraising and investor relations.
  • Exceptional leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Strategic thinker with a hands-on approach to execution.
  • Proficient in data analysis, market research, and financial modeling.
