Inside Sales Representative

The Inside Sales Representative is responsible for teaming with field sales account executives to generate and qualify new business opportunities as well as work with our existing customers. The ideal candidate has prior experience in Customer Service. A background in showroom, lighting industry, and sales. This person will be responsible for working as a cohesive and dynamic team member. They will work with team members to achieve sales and revenue goals for an assigned territory by developing and building long-term relationships with customers.

Responsibilities:
-Source new sales opportunities through inbound lead follow-up and outbound cold calls and emails
-Understand customer needs and requirements
-Route qualified opportunities to the appropriate sales executives for further development and closure
-Close sales and achieve monthly quotas
-Research accounts, identify key players and generate interest
-Maintain and expand your database of prospects within your assigned accounts
-Team with channel partners to build pipeline and close deals
-Perform effective online demos to prospects

Working hours: 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM

Skills:
-Relevant experience in Lighting industry and Plumbing industry

Education:
High School

Experience:
1-4 years

Qualifications:
-Proven inside sales experience
-Demonstrated history of goal achievement
-Prospecting and closing skills
-Software sales or sales of educational materials experience is a plus
-Knowledge of sales principles and practices
-Strong written and verbal skills; demonstrated proficiency in typing and grammar
-Problem solving skills
-Ability to multi-task
-Knowledge of relevant software computer applications and equipment
-Experience with using a Customer Relationship Management System (CRM System)
