ABOUT THE JOB

The Senior Human Resources (HR) Manager position is responsible for leading HR strategy for Dover Precision Component’s (DPC) corporate functions. As a key member of the HR Leadership team, this role will work closely with Senior and Front Line leaders from the organization’s global Finance, IT, Compliance, Engineering and Innovation & Market Strategy functions, to support execution of both functional and company strategy. In addition, this role will partner with Dover Corporations HR centers of excellence teams, to drive delivery of HR functional projects across DPC.

 

WHAT YOU'LL BRING

  • Over 10 years of progressive HR experience
  • Demonstrated success working cross-functionally supporting the business strategies, to meet or exceed Annual Operating Plans (AOP)
  • Demonstrated experience leading and executing large-scale HR programs and initiatives with a high focus on Organizational Effectiveness and Design, Talent Development, and Employee Value Proposition strategies
  • Demonstrated ability to drive employee engagement, identification of organizational opportunities and gaps, determine solutions, and implement change
  • Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate and influence stakeholders at all levels of the organization
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities to identify business risks and develop effective mitigation strategies within the business or Company
  • Independent self-starter, with the ability to make sound judgement decisions
  • Result driven attitude to organize time effectively, determine priorities, and move tasks and projects forward to completion
  • Experience supporting overseas employees, particularly within Europe would be beneficial
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources Management, Organizational Design, or related field
  • HR Professional certification preferred (GPHS, SPHR, PHR, SHRM-CP)

 

WHAT YOU'LL DO

  • Provide strategic HR support to corporate functions by driving initiatives to achieve or exceed the organization’s Annual Operating Plan (AOP), growth strategies, while adhering to Company policy and procedures
  • Partner with cross-functional teams on business initiatives including culture, communication and continuous improvement
  • Champion an inclusive, equitable and diverse culture, that promotes positive employee relations, development of talent, and retention of talent within the organization
  • Monitor key performance indicators, such as utilization, productivity, resourcing needs for headcount, overtime, turnover, absenteeism, and other HR KPI’s
  • Collaborate with the Company’s global HR team members and HR shared service functions to support companywide HR initiatives, including Dover Corporation’s talent acquisition team to source and attract critical skills and knowledge, and drives the Company’s Employee Value Proposition strategy
  • Advise both management and employees in HR related matters to ensure compliance with company policy and applicable local laws and regulations
  • Support M&A activity where required
