Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Human Resources Manager to join our team at Equus Workforce Solutions. As a key member of our HR department, you will be responsible for providing strategic guidance and support to our operations teams, ensuring compliance with federal and state labor laws, and fostering a positive and inclusive work environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operations Support: Provide guidance and support to operations teams on employee relations, conflict resolution, and performance management.
  • Compliance Management: Ensure compliance with federal and state labor laws, including wage and hour regulations, OSHA standards, and ResCare training requirements.
  • Employee Relations: Serve as a liaison between employees, management, and HR, resolving conflicts and addressing employee concerns in a fair and timely manner.
  • Recruitment and Hiring: Recruit and post job openings, conduct salary surveys, and ensure accurate employee data in our Enterprise system.
  • Training and Development: Provide HR training to supervisors, facilitate new hire onboarding, and ensure compliance with ResCare training standards.
  • Union Avoidance: Collaborate with Regional HR Director and Director of Labor Relations to develop union avoidance strategies and ensure compliance with labor laws.
Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in business management, human resources, psychology, or related field.
  • Experience: At least five years of experience in human resources, with a strong background in employee relations, compliance, and recruitment.
  • Skills: Excellent organizational skills, strong attention to detail, outstanding communication skills, and knowledge of federal and state labor laws.
  • Certifications: Professional in Human Resources (PHR) or Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR) certification preferred.
