The Ladders is in search of a Senior Human Resources Strategist (hybrid role) to become a vital member of our Corporate Human Resources team.
We are looking for a seasoned HR professional to take on a pivotal HR Business Partner role. This position is designed to be hybrid, with an expectation of in-office work three days a week. Reporting directly to the Vice President of HR, this role requires providing expert HR support to designated functional areas, offering strategic HR guidance to management and employees, managing moderate investigations, and collaborating with senior team members on complex cases. Additionally, this position will play a significant role in contributing to projects that enhance our HR systems and workflows, serving as the primary contact for all HR functions within the assigned organizations. Your efforts will align with legal, industry, and best practices, playing a crucial role in fostering a diverse and inclusive workplace.
The ideal candidate will be someone who values teamwork and combines extensive HR expertise with a proactive, engaging, and supportive approach. This individual should excel in both technical and strategic HR areas, demonstrating the emotional intelligence and communication skills necessary to succeed in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.

- Proactive Communicator: Maintains open and effective communication, ensuring all stakeholders are well-informed and clarity is upheld in all interactions.

Key Responsibilities
The Senior Human Resources Strategist will:
- Act as the primary liaison for executive and line management within assigned organizations, serving as the expert HR contact for employees. Collaborate with HR process owners to swiftly resolve issues for both management and employees, fostering strong relationships with internal stakeholders to promote positive employee relations and high engagement.
- Conduct thorough investigations into employee relations matters such as harassment, discrimination, and workplace issues, adhering to all relevant rules and regulations.
- Manage performance-related casework, closely aligning with our Performance Management processes.
- Provide timely communication regarding investigations, delivering comprehensive reports with supporting documentation.
- Engage as a collaborative member of the HR team, working with HR leaders to ensure thorough investigations and effective resolutions.
- Develop, update, and ensure compliance with HR policies and procedures, conducting training sessions as necessary.
- Analyze trends in employee relations with leadership to formulate proactive strategies, solutions, programs, and policies.
- Lead and contribute to projects aimed at enhancing HR system functionalities and user experience, partnering with other HR team members.
- This hybrid position requires a reliable in-office schedule of at least three days per week.
- Perform additional duties as required.
Required Education/Experience/Skills:
- BA/BS Degree in Human Resources or a related field, with twelve (12) years of direct experience in employee relations, investigations, employment law, and disciplinary actions.
- Thorough understanding of federal, state, and local laws governing employment policies and practices.
- Established expertise in conflict resolution and internal client support, complemented by leadership in technical projects across teams.
- Proven experience in all areas of HR (Staffing, Recruitment, HRIS, Employee Relations, Compensation, and Benefits) to provide comprehensive advice and counsel.
- Extensive experience with HRIS systems and proficiency in Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
