    Job Description

    The LNG Pipeline Development SME will work closely with cross-functional teams, stakeholders, and external partners to optimize pipeline infrastructure and development strategies.

    Key Responsibilities:

  • Technical Expertise:
  • Provide expert knowledge and guidance on LNG pipeline design, construction, and operation.
Lead technical evaluations and assessments of pipeline systems, including feasibility studies and risk assessments.Develop and maintain best practices, standards, and procedures for LNG pipeline development.Project Oversight:Oversee and support the planning, design, and execution of LNG pipeline projects from conception through commissioning.Ensure that project milestones are met on time and within budget while maintaining high standards of quality and safety.Coordinate with engineering teams, contractors, and stakeholders to resolve technical issues and challenges.Compliance and Safety:Ensure all pipeline development activities comply with industry regulations, environmental standards, and safety requirements.Stay updated on relevant codes, standards, and regulations, and incorporate them into project plans and practices.Strategic Development:Contribute to the strategic development and optimization of LNG pipeline infrastructure, including capacity expansion and technology enhancements.Analyze market trends, emerging technologies, and regulatory changes to inform strategic planning and decision-making.Stakeholder Management:Engage with internal and external stakeholders, including government agencies, regulatory bodies, and community representatives.Prepare and deliver technical presentations, reports, and documentation to various stakeholders.Mentorship and Training:Provide mentorship and training to junior engineers and technical staff on LNG pipeline development practices and technologies.Foster a culture of continuous learning and professional development within the team.

The Successful Applicant

Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Civil, Chemical, or related field). Advanced degree preferred.Minimum of 10 years of experience in LNG pipeline development, including project management, design, and construction.Extensive knowledge of LNG pipeline systems, including engineering principles, construction methods, and operational considerations.Strong understanding of relevant industry codes, standards, and regulations.Proven ability to lead and manage complex projects with multiple stakeholders.Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and decision-making skills.Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to convey complex technical information to diverse audiences.
