Position: Data & BI Analyst II

Location: Hybrid with minimum of 3 days a week in Newark, DE  

The Company is looking for a Data and BI Analyst II to be a key member of our Business Intelligence and Analytics team.  The successful candidate will build and maintain strong relationships with business partners, while supporting the company's analytic capabilities and ensuring delivery of high-quality analytic solutions.  This role requires the person be an experienced leader with deep hands on experience in statistical analysis, predictive modeling, and customer analytics.

What you'll be working on  

  • Creating the information architecture and information management strategy for the organization, such that these create a foundation for future investment in business intelligence and collaboration.
  • Collaborating with business, service, and enterprise architects to understand the implications of respective architectures on information architecture and maximize the value of information across the organization.
  • Supporting business and IT capabilities for managing and integrating unstructured information across media platforms, i.e., wikis, blogs, instant messaging, etc., and traditional sources such as e-mail and SharePoint.
  • Collaborating with user experience specialists to develop design specifications that will improve the performance, usability, and effectiveness of customer-facing interfaces.
  • As a Data Analyst you will analyze legacy system data sets from multiple sources to support data Integration, conversion and migration related tasks.
  • Collaborating with key stakeholders and data owners to map component requirements and data elements to support and enable required application capabilities and functionality.

  • 5+ years of experience in information architecture or experience as data analyst, business intelligence analyst, or equivalent roles
  • Hands-on experience with implementing data and analytics management programs, building complex analytical reports and dashboards
  • System integration experience, including interface design, and familiarity with web-oriented architecture techniques
  • Strong experience of metamodels, taxonomies, ontologies, and challenges of applying structured techniques (data modeling) to less-structured sources
  • Requires a balance of technical knowledge, problem solving, report development, and communication skills
  • Expert in Data warehouse, data lakes, data marts, and ETL
  • Enterprise data models and data governance
  • Experience in user experience modeling, information design, and concept generation
  • Knowledge about various architectures, patterns and protocols such as SSID, SSIS, ODBC, JDBC, unified data management architecture (UDM), event-driven architecture, real-time data flows, non-relational repositories, data virtualization, cloud enablement, etc.
  • Knowledge of and experience with multiple data integration platforms
  • Ability to regularly learn and adopt new technology
  • Experience working on data migration projects and tools
  • Strong experience in SQL, Tableau or Power BI
  • Experience in SAP Business Objects preferred
  • Experience in SAP Analytics Cloud SAC
  • Bachelor's degree in data science, computer science, engineering, or related field. Master's preferred.
  • Vendor management: Work with vendors and consultants, as needed, to complete task on time and on budget.
  • Project management: Independently or team with other employees, vendors, consultants to manage projects to completion.
  • Project planning: Create scope or project plans to ensure projects/responsibilities are documented and accomplished.
