Administrative Assistant with Corporate Event Planning Experience

As we expand our operations, we are seeking an experienced Administrative Assistant with a background in planning corporate events to join our team.
Position Overview:
As our Administrative Assistant, you will play a crucial role in supporting our day-to-day operations while also taking the lead in planning and executing corporate events. The ideal candidate will be highly organized, detail-oriented, and possess excellent communication skills. This role offers the opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment and contribute to the success of our company.
Responsibilities:
- Provide administrative support to the executive team and other staff members.
- Coordinate and schedule meetings, appointments, and travel arrangements.
- Manage and maintain office supplies, equipment, and facilities.
- Assist with the preparation and distribution of documents, reports, and presentations.
- Plan, organize, and execute corporate events such as conferences, seminars, and team-building activities.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to determine event objectives, themes, and budgets.
- Source and negotiate with vendors and suppliers to ensure the success of events.
- Coordinate event logistics including venue selection, catering, transportation, and audiovisual requirements.
- Create and distribute event invitations, agendas, and promotional materials.
- Oversee event setup, registration, and on-site coordination.
- Evaluate event success and provide recommendations for future improvements.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as an Administrative Assistant or similar role.
- Previous experience planning and coordinating corporate events is required.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively.
- Creative problem-solving abilities.
- Flexibility to work occasional evenings or weekends for events.
