Snap-on offers a competitive compensation package, which includes an annual base expense, commissions, and sales bonus opportunity.   • Oversee and provide quality service to key accounts
  • Analyze all accounts and contracts within established territory and work with management to develop strategies to drive growth and profitability
  • Penetrate assigned accounts to expand market share
  • Maintain Company customer contact database
  • Provide exceptional service to assigned customers by leveraging strong planning and organizational skills
  • Prepare and deliver presentations on topics including current product knowledge and application, safety and ergonomics and operational effectiveness
  • Make regular contacts with customers to ensure that the following services are consistently provided:
  1. Negotiate ethically on price and terms and conditions, consistent with established business unit values and strategies; work with Contract Administration to ensure compliance
  2. Leverage solutioneering capabilities to address customer issues
  3. Create accurate quotes, generate orders, provide information using various systems
  • Manage consigned inventory levels within established parameters
  • Monitor Accounts Receivables in accordance with established Company guidelines; may need to assist in collecting on past-due accounts
  • Prepare requisite reporting (call reports, trip reports, expense reports, customer call documentation etc.) as required or directed by the manager
  • Perform all other duties as assigned by management

  • Bachelors degree preferred or minimum of 5+ years of outside sales and successful management of large and/or key accounts
  • Demonstrated success in managing increased responsibility and achieving required goals
  • Strong understanding of sales strategy and the ability to implement territory management
  • Excellent written & verbal communication skills
  • Impeccable personal presentation; ability to present effectively and appropriately both internally & externally, to all levels in an organization
  • Must hold all credentials or requirements needed for assigned customer accounts
  • Must be proficient in the use of Microsoft Office Suite products including Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint
  • Must possess a valid driver’s license with an impeccable driving record
  • Knowledge of industrial tool market, a plus
