Key Responsibilities:

Responsibilities may include, but are not limited to, the following tasks: Handle incoming customer service inquiries and conduct follow-up calls in a professional, patient-centric manner.

Ensure timely response to calls without any drops or abandoned calls.

Identify the purpose of the call and assist the caller with their inquiries, concerns, or issues, focusing on resolving the matter on the first call.

Facilitate resolution by directing the matter to the appropriate subject matter expert.
Escalate issues to a supervisor, request necessary information, or take appropriate actions to ensure effective resolution by the issue expert.

Manage corrected claims and related documentation as necessary for optimal patient experience.
Collaborate with other departments to ensure proper management of patient accounts.
Communicate issues to management promptly and perform additional duties as assigned by supervisors.

Execute a variety of tasks that may frequently change without loss of efficiency or composure.

Proficient computer skills, understanding of medical terminology, PC applications, and basic math/bookkeeping skills.

Qualifications:
High school diploma or GED

Preferred Qualifications:
  • 3 years of relevant experience or general knowledge of payer-specific or medical specialty billing
  • Experience with dialers
  • Bilingual (English/Spanish)
  • Availability for shifts from 10 AM to 7 PM and 11 AM to 8 PM.
