Auxilius is a fast-growing, venture-backed B2B tech startup dedicated to helping innovative biotechs streamline their finance and accounting practices with a first-in-market software solution. Auxilius is looking for a Business Development Representative to be a key member of our Business Development team. This person will play an integral part in uncovering opportunities for us
Who are you? You are a go-getter who wants to help Auxilius grow You will be driving revenue growth by identifying and generating sales opportunities through outbound prospecting and inbound lead follow-up. You will be the first point of contact for potential customers, educating them about our solutions and setting up meetings for Business Development Directors to close deals
We’ll count on you to…
- Conduct outbound prospecting via email, phone, and social media to identify potential customers
- Qualify inbound leads generated by marketing campaigns and assess their fit to our software solutions
- Research target accounts to develop a deep understanding of potential customer needs and challenges
- Engage with decision-makers, building a relationship and educating them on the value of our products
- Schedule qualified meetings for Directors to progress leads through the sales pipeline
- Collaborate with our cross-functional teams to understand business drivers and provide business outcome-focused solutions
- Maintain accurate records of prospecting and sales activity in our CRM platform
- Collaborate with the sales and marketing team to refine outreach strategies and improve lead generation
- Stay up to date on industry trends and the competitive landscape to effectively position our product
Preferred Skills & Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree required
- 2+ years of relevant work experience
- Work experience in FP&A Software and Life Sciences is preferred, but not required
- Comfortable interacting with and presenting to all levels of management
- Ability to work well independently and with remote teams
- Sense of humor
