Our client is currently in search of a qualified Desktop Support Technician to join their team onsite in Deerfield Beach, FL. This Technician will work the hours of 7:30am to 4:00pm, Monday to Friday. The Desktop Support Technician provides technical assistance to customers regarding various hardware and software applications. Duties include troubleshooting and diagnosing different technical issues, assessing, and understanding user needs and issues and recommending technical fixes to end users.

This position will also be covering the walk-up desk with another Technician and will be a contract role for 2 months with the possibility of extension.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Work directly with end users to analyze, troubleshoot, and diagnose hardware and software problems

  • Perform general Hardware troubleshooting and Break / Fix repairs of Laptops and Desktops

  • Coordinate, diagnose, and troubleshoot incoming inquiries

  • Support / troubleshoot network problems

  • Configure, deploy, and troubleshoot Windows / MAC / iOS

  • Active Directory - managing users and computers

  • Windows 10 OS - Navigating and troubleshooting

  • Microsoft Intune - Managing users and devices

  • Office 365 experience - Troubleshooting

  • MS Authenticator - Configuring and Troubleshooting

  • SSO - Single Sign

 
Skills and Qualifications:

  • Minimum 3 to 5+ years of desktop support experience

  • Windows / MAC / iOS experience

  • Active Directory experience

  • Excellent customer service skills to provide White Glove support

  • ServiceNow experience is a plus
  • CompTIA A+ certification is a plus

  • Azure / Intune is a plus

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
