Essential Function and Responsibility:

Assist in conducting IT compliance assessments and information security reviews, promoting best practices and effective processes that relate to TISAX - Trusted Information Security Assessment Exchange; NIST SP 800-171 - Protecting Controlled Unclassified Information in Nonfederal Systems and Organizations; NIST SSDF (Secure Software Development Framework); Cybersecurity Risk Management Framework and other regulations and/or compliance needs. Assist Senior Compliance team members and other stakeholders to evaluate the effectiveness of security controls, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations . Make recommendations for improvements to strengthen controls. Ensure the company’s application security policies and standards follow best practices based on National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) and other relevant standards and frameworks. Communicate security risks to different audiences ranging from business leaders to application development teams. Stay up-to-date with the latest developments in information security, emerging threats, and technological advancements. Identify opportunities for process enhancement and contribute to the ongoing improvement of information security practices. Prepare audit reports and interpret the significance of audit findings drawing conclusions and analysis from findings. Develop briefs, checklists, and the documents required for various compliance decisions and maintaining compliance requirements. Maintain and update compliance documentation. Work is guided by operational and project objectives. Opportunities for professional growth.

Personal Skill Requirements:

Demonstrate problem solving, organizational and time management skills. Ability to perform Independently and/or in a team environment. Sound research and analytical skills, including the ability to identify problems and formulate solutions; appropriate to current policy and communication strategies. Proven ability to cope with and perform effectively in a demanding environment, giving close attention to detail and accuracy, while meeting tight deadlines. Ability to continually develop and improve one’s skill and knowledge to perform effectively and adapt to change in the workplace. Development occurs through a variety of learning opportunities, seeking feedback, and individual reflection. Possession of excellent verbal and written communication skills for documentation.
