Dynamis is seeking a Jr. Exercise Analyst to provide administrative, logistical, and operational support for the Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security Agency (CISA)'s Cyber Storm exercise, the nation's National Cyber Exercise. Cyber Storm is a national-level cyber exercise that brings together the public and private sector to simulate response to a cybersecurity incident impacting the nation's critical infrastructure. The exercise is designed to assess cybersecurity preparedness and examine incident response processes, procedures, and information sharing capabilities. The Jr. Exercise Analyst will assist senior contract staff with exercise planning, execution, and evaluation efforts, including document preparation and meeting support. Work will be performed at Dynamis HQ in Falls Church, VA and remotely (telework).

Responsibilities:

  • Assist in providing program support to CISA for Cyber Storm exercise development and its stakeholders' participation in the Cyber Storm exercise.
  • Support the International Working Group Lead with exercise planning, design, development, execution, and evaluation for International Working Group participants
  • Support major planning meetings, exercise scenario development, creation of exercise participant materials, internal planning team materials, and After-Action Report (AAR) development.
  • Support development of exercise documentation, including Concept of Operations, Exercise Plan, Master Scenario Events List, Controller/Observer Staff Instructions, policies for exercise execution, network topology, and Exercise Control design, diagrams, and schematics
  • Assist in the conduct of six major planning meetings, including Concept & Objectives Meeting, Initial Planning Meeting, Mid-Term Planning Meeting, Master Scenario Events List Meeting, Final Planning Meeting, Hot Wash, and After-Action Meetings.
  • Assist with exercise conduct, including build-out of the Exercise Control, staffing of primary exercise positions, staffing of controller positions, and provision and coordination of tools used for exercise play
  • Support development of the exercise AAR.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree
  • 0-3 years of professional experience
  • Secret clearance and ability to obtain CISA suitability clearance
  • Strong writing and editing skills, with a keen attention to detail
  • Team-oriented attitude and ability to work collaboratively and take direction
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, especially Word and PowerPoint
  • Understanding of cybersecurity and/or exercise planning preferred
