Idaho National Laboratory is seeking a Control Systems Cybersecurity Analyst to join our Cybercore Analysis division. This role is integral to our mission of safeguarding industrial control systems across various sectors, including military and critical infrastructure.
Key Responsibilities:
- Utilize your expertise in intelligence analysis, cybersecurity, and engineering to conduct thorough assessments of cyber threats targeting industrial control systems.
- Collaborate with a diverse team of analysts, control systems experts, power engineers, and cybersecurity researchers to execute both short-term and long-term technical initiatives.
- Produce clear and concise written reports, presentations, and strategic documents tailored for non-technical stakeholders, leveraging your understanding of engineering or computer science principles.
- Integrate technical knowledge with threat assessment to develop strategies against cyber threats aimed at critical infrastructure, such as the electrical grid, oil and gas sectors, nuclear facilities, military sites, and transportation systems.
Qualifications:
- A minimum of a Bachelor's degree with 5-9 years of relevant experience, a Master's degree with 2-6 years, or a Doctorate with 2-4 years of applicable experience; equivalent experience may substitute for formal education.
- A strong portfolio of published analyses on cybersecurity or industrial control systems is highly desirable.
- Experience in intelligence analysis and authorship of reports for governmental entities is preferred.
- Applicants must be eligible to obtain and maintain a Department of Energy "Q" clearance and SCI, requiring U.S. citizenship.
Compensation and Benefits:
- Salary range for this position is: Level 3 ($91,008 - $186,588) / Level 4 ($109,260 - $223,908), based on qualifications and experience.
