We have an immediate opening for reliable Procurement Operations Coordinator for 13 week contracts at a non-profit community based program in Houston, TX.  8 hour shifts from 8a – 5p shift with the following requirements:

Pay Rate: $21/hr
Start Date:  8/1/2024
Assignment Type: 13 Week Contract
Shift/Hours: 8a – 5p M - F

Duties Include:
  • Perform Initial Review of requests received in the Agency Contract Management and accurately and timely completes tasks according to training, tools and resources and in accordance with required timeframes
  • Properly disposition tasks in the Agency Contract Management System and work collectively with internal stakeholders to gather needed information
  • Responsible for the timely and accurate distribution, and electronic retention of Agency purchase orders
  • Vendor liaison responsible for vendor onboarding, maintenance, and document execution as set forth in Agency policies & guidelines
  • Maintains high level of confidentiality dealing with partners and stakeholders
  • Assist with procurement review as requested by Procurement and Contracts Administration
  • Engage and respond to internal and external business partners as necessary through Direct communication, email and/or system to ensure a quality procurement experience by providing solution-oriented communication.
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation of records in compliance with agency policies and guidelines including documentation, data entry, cross system data point match, case notes, and revision of incorrect information
  • Maintain supplier data integrity and accuracy across multiple Agency systems
  • Ensure procurement & contract compliance with all applicable Agency policies and guidelines
  • Maintain a good working knowledge of local, state, federal and contractual rules and regulations, and incorporate this knowledge and best practices into work processes and program support
  • Participate in additional projects and initiatives as requested by Procurement & Contracts leadership team
Qualifications
  • Education – Associates Degree -  Business, Accounting, Supply Chain
  • 4-6 years experience in PROGRAM OPERATIONS EXPERIENECE, PREFERRABLY IN A PROCUREMENT AND CONTRACTS ENVIRONMENT
