Key Responsibilities- Strategic Sourcing: Identify and negotiate contracts for indirect goods and services, including maintenance, utilities, packaging, and MRO.
- Negotiation: Develop and execute negotiation strategies to secure favorable terms and conditions.
- Contract Analysis: Analyze contract clauses, stipulations, obligations, and liabilities to identify potential disputes and risks.
- Data Analysis: Utilize data analysis skills to inform procurement decisions and optimize supply chain operations.
- Supplier Evaluation: Assess and evaluate supplier performance to ensure compliance with company standards.
- Supplier Management: Develop and maintain strong relationships with suppliers to ensure timely delivery and quality products.
- Purchase Order Issuance: Coordinate the issuance of purchase orders and ensure timely receipt of goods and services.
- Expediting: Identify and resolve supply chain disruptions to ensure timely delivery of goods and services.
- KPI Management: Develop and track key performance indicators to measure procurement performance.
- Requests for Quotation: Develop and issue requests for quotation to secure competitive pricing and terms.
- Problem-Solving: Investigate and resolve procurement-related issues to ensure compliance with company standards.
- Process Development: Participate in the development of processes and programs to improve supply chain operations.
- Invoice Dispute Resolution: Resolve invoice disputes and ensure timely payment to suppliers.
- Passion for procurement and supply chain management.
- Experience purchasing rolling stock and equipment leasing a plus.
- Self-directed and flexible with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent written, oral, and communication skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, Power BI, and ERP systems (MS Dynamics, Business Central).
- Thorough understanding of basic procurement principles and industry experience a plus.
- 5+ years' procurement management experience (non-leadership responsibility).
