What we are building

Mimica's mission is to accelerate the discovery and deployment of automation with AI.

Our first product, Mapper, learns patterns from employee clicks and keystrokes, identifies key steps, decisions and repetition, and generates “blueprints” for automation. Today, it supports RPA teams, that build software bots for repetitive computer tasks such as data entry, form completion and claim processing. Alongside creating process maps for automation, we've introduced Miner, which helps enterprises identify and prioritize automation opportunities.


Your Mission

As our first Business Strategy & Operations hire, you will zoom out to analyze Mimica's needs and offer your perspective on achieving goals and completing strategic projects. Through your operations work, you will help improve the performance and productivity of our revenue teams. You will work at the intersection of processes, technology, and data, focusing on aligning revenue-generating functions to unlock growth and streamline operations. This is a unique opportunity to gain insight into the workings of a high-growth company and make a significant impact on its success.

Part of your day-to-day
  • Driving analysis and research to inform decisions and tackle the most challenging or ambiguous strategic and operational questions impacting the business.
  • Maintaining a strong understanding of Mimica's competitive positioning, developing market insights and making recommendations to Marketing, Sales, Customer Success, and the executive team to drive growth.
  • Managing and optimizing our revenue tech stack to ensure proper integration, seamless data flow, and accurate reporting.
  • Providing deal desk support to streamline the opportunity management process, including maintaining documentation and conducting team training.
  • Assisting in quota setting, performance tracking, and managing compensation plans, including commission calculations and approvals for quota-carrying reps.
  • Creating reports, dashboards, slides, and supporting documentation for forecast reviews, QBRs, and shareholder meetings.
  • Assisting in fundraising efforts and taking ownership of special projects such as research grants, R&D tax credits, and 409a valuations.
  • Independently defining and initiating new strategic projects, contributing to the overall growth and success of Mimica.

Requirements

  • Background in strategy consulting, finance, operations, or a revenue-focused role within the B2B SaaS space.
  • Proven ability to take ownership of strategic projects from inception to completion, driving cross-functional efforts and achieving impactful outcomes across the business.
  • Advanced analytical skills, with a strong ability to leverage data and uncover insights that inform decision-making.
  • Proficiency in productivity and project management tools.
  • Excellent communication skills, with a demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively across functions and convey complex information clearly to diverse stakeholders, including senior management.
  • Strategic mindset, coupled with a willingness to dive into the details and execute tactical tasks.
  • Adaptability to evolving business requirements and a proactive drive to continually develop your skills, enhance team processes, and reduce inefficiencies.
Bonus
  • Experience developing processes for Go-To-Market teams and successfully getting them adopted, or optimizing related systems such as Salesforce, HubSpot, and Outreach.
  • Knowledge of automation/RPA, process transformation, AI or related domains.
  • Comfortable working within high-growth environments – delivering value quickly and iteratively.
  • Experience as an early hire at a startup – creating process, structure and documentation.
