- Preferred: HR Certification.
- In-depth knowledge of federal and state employment laws.
- Proficient in various HR disciplines.
- Ability to connect with diverse individuals and groups.
- Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Strong organizational skills and proficiency in HRIS and MS Office Suite.
- Self-motivated with a knack for problem-solving.
- Serve as a trusted advisor to management, ensuring adherence to legal standards and effective resolution of personnel matters.
- Support departmental goals through regular one-on-one meetings and participation in team discussions.
- Address routine employee relations concerns, escalating complex issues to the HR Director as necessary.
- Assist staff and management with inquiries related to benefits, terminations, and policy interpretations.
- Maintain and update internal HR databases, including performance and corrective action logs.
- Collaborate with employees and management to clarify HR policies, procedures, and regulations.
- Facilitate communication of changes to employees and lead training sessions.
- Engage in continuous learning to enhance knowledge across all HR areas through various training opportunities.
- Ensure compliance with regulations regarding onboarding, employment practices, and employee relations.
- Conduct thorough investigations into employee concerns, documenting findings and recommending actions as needed.
- Analyze exit interview feedback to propose improvements aimed at enhancing employee retention.
- Deliver HR-related training to enhance workforce capabilities.
- Oversee the recruitment and onboarding process, including job postings, background checks, and orientation for new hires.
- Provide analytical support for various HR initiatives and projects.
- Manage employee leave processes, ensuring compliance with relevant laws and maintaining accurate documentation.
- Collaborate with HR colleagues to leverage expertise in implementing effective HR initiatives.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
