LSI currently seeks a Language Access and Resource Coordinator to help lead and develop high quality linguistically appropriate services for Limited English Proficient program participants.

What You'll Do

The Language Access and Resource Coordinator is responsible for leading and developing the capacity of LSI's resource referral and language access functions to provide high quality, linguistically appropriate services to Limited English Proficient (LEP) program participants. The Coordinator will supervise and train a team of Resource and Referral Specialists, Interpreters, and other multi-lingual staff. Through leadership, the Coordinator will be responsible for ensuring all customer inquiries and participant intakes are responded to and completed professionally, compliantly, comprehensively, and in alignment with LSI's policies and practices. The position will coordinate external language access resources to ensure the delivery of high-quality, reliable language interpretation and translation services across the agency. The Coordinator will work closely with internal and external stakeholders in the development and delivery of resource referral and language access services. They will continually evaluate and modify services to deliver outstanding customer service and maximize the organization's human capital and financial resources.

What You'll Need

Required: Bachelor's degree in a human services or related field and five years of experience leading a customer service or other human services program.

Preferred: Master's degree and 5+ years of experience in management of human services or language access programs for immigrant populations. Preferred applicants will have a demonstrated record of leading coordinated intake and referral processes, serving as an interpreter and/or translator and operating in a fast-paced, culturally diverse environment.

This position requires a valid driver's license, auto insurance, a good driving record and the ability to pass an extensive background check including checks of the Dependent Adult and Child Abuse registries, Sex Offender registry and a criminal history check.
