Position Overview:

The Human Resources Coordinator for Physicians plays a crucial role in delivering HR support to Physician and Advanced Practice Clinician (APC) providers. The primary objective is to enhance the efficiency of human resource operations that align with the strategic goals of Trinity Health, ensuring an optimal employment experience for our providers.

This role involves regular interaction with physicians, executive leadership, and various management levels to provide essential information and execute HR operational policies and procedures.

A comprehensive understanding of provider employment, HR Center of Excellence (COE), and HR Shared Services (HRSS) is essential, along with proficiency in internal systems (e.g., Workday, Kronos timekeeping) to review, verify, and process HR actions specific to providers. Responsibilities include maintaining data integrity, processing actions, generating reports, managing internal databases, supporting special projects, and providing diverse administrative assistance.


Key Responsibilities:

Act as a point of contact for employed providers regarding inquiries and requests related to compensation, benefits, leaves of absence, status changes, malpractice insurance, contract modifications, and continuing medical education (CME).

Utilize strategic insights to address complex issues and provide informed guidance.

Compile and analyze data to create reports for presentation to Medical Group Administration and Physician Leaders.

Collaborate with the PES recruiting team to ensure accuracy throughout the applicant hiring process.

Work in partnership with HR, Administration, Finance, and Payroll to resolve provider employment-related issues.

Assist in the onboarding process for new providers and residents, offering ongoing support for HR-related inquiries.

Support managers with Time and Attendance coding and issues related to providers.

Coordinate with the Leave Administrator and Finance to manage provider leaves of absence, ensuring compliance with employment contracts.

Contribute to HR communications by developing materials, summarizing data, and posting updates on internal platforms.

Engage in continuous improvement initiatives for HR practices, procedures, and processes, and participate in various projects and ad-hoc requests relevant to HR functions.

Maintain awareness of and adhere to HR policies, procedures, information systems, relevant laws, and compliance regulations.

Provide general administrative support, demonstrating proficiency in various software applications and the ability to navigate internal information systems.

Stay informed about applicable Federal, State, and local laws and regulations, as well as Trinity Health's Corporate Integrity Program and Code of Ethics, ensuring ethical and professional conduct.


Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, or a related field is required.

1-3 years of experience in human resources or physician/provider recruitment is necessary, with a preference for experience supporting physicians/providers.

SPHR/PHR certification is preferred.

Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively with individuals from diverse backgrounds.

Strong analytical skills and strategic thinking capabilities.

Excellent communication skills are essential.
