Position Overview:

The Human Resources Coordinator for Physicians plays a crucial role in delivering human resource assistance to Physician and Advanced Practice Clinician (APC) providers. The primary aim is to enhance the efficiency of business and HR operations that align with the strategic goals of Trinity Health, ensuring an optimal employment experience for providers.

This role involves engaging with physicians, executives, and various management levels to provide and relay information, as well as executing tasks related to HR operational policies, procedures, and processes.

Responsibilities require a comprehensive understanding of provider employment, HR Center of Excellence (COE), and HR Shared Services (HRSS) offerings, along with the application of internal systems (e.g., Workday, Kronos timekeeping) to review, verify, and process HR actions specific to providers. The coordinator will also participate in maintaining data integrity, processing actions, preparing reports, setting up and managing internal databases, supporting special projects, and providing varied administrative assistance.


Key Responsibilities:

Act as a liaison for employed providers addressing inquiries and requests related to compensation, benefits, leaves of absence, status changes, malpractice insurance management, contract modifications, and Continuing Medical Education (CME) requirements.

Utilize strategic insight to navigate complex issues and provide suitable advice and feedback.

Compile and analyze data to create reports for presentation to Medical Group Administration and Physician Leaders.

Collaborate with PES recruiting staff to ensure accuracy throughout the applicant hiring process.

Work in partnership with HR, Administration, Finance, and Payroll to resolve provider employment-related issues.

Assist with the onboarding process for new providers and residents, offering ongoing support for HR-related questions and concerns.

Support managers with Time and Attendance coding and issues related to providers.

Coordinate with the Leave Administrator and Finance in managing a provider's Leave of Absence (LOA). Audit and maintain HR data in the HR/Payroll system in accordance with provider employment contracts.

Contribute to HR communications by developing materials, compiling and summarizing data, and posting updates on internal platforms.

Engage in the continuous enhancement of HR practices, procedures, and processes. Participate in and support projects and ad-hoc requests related to any HR function. Stay informed about and adhere to HR plans, policies, procedures, information systems/applications, relevant laws, and compliance regulations.

Perform general administrative tasks requiring proficiency in various software and applications, along with the ability to navigate and access internal information systems, such as Workday and Kronos timekeeping.

Maintain knowledge of applicable Federal, State, and local laws and regulations, as well as Trinity Health's Corporate Integrity Program and Code of Ethics, ensuring adherence in a manner that reflects ethical and professional behavior.


Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in human resources, business, or a related field is required.

1-3 years of experience in human resources or physician/provider recruitment is required, with a preference for experience supporting physicians/providers.

SPHR/PHR certification is preferred.

Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively with individuals from diverse backgrounds.

Strong analytical skills and strategic thinking capabilities.

Excellent communication skills.
