Working as a Senior Community Engagement Specialist with Adapt for Life through Cincinnati Children’s Hospital Medical Center you will:
·Provide education on Adapt For Life suicide prevention in Cincinnati area schools
·Present to students about mental health, teaching important life skills while offering resources they can use to help themselves and others.
·Manage multiple projects simultaneously, work both independently and in a team environment, and work efficiently and creatively to meet deadlines.
·Effectively leverage engagement, outreach and health education activities and measure impact and effectiveness.
Qualifications
Job Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in a related field 0-2 years work experience in a related job disciplinePreferred Qualifications:
·Experience working with adolescents/teens and mental health services
·Experience facilitating, presenting; classroom experience
·Professional verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills with ability to develop materials for presentations to a variety of audiences both internal and external
·Computer literate and competency related to Microsoft Office with emphasis on PowerPoint and Excel
·LIW/LISW or LPC/LPCC licensure preferred
