Responsibilities as a Senior Community Engagement Specialist with Adapt for Life through Cincinnati Children's Hospital Medical Center:
· Deliver educational programs on Adapt For Life suicide prevention in local schools
· Engage with students regarding mental health, imparting essential life skills while providing resources for self-help and peer support.
· Oversee multiple projects concurrently, demonstrating the ability to work independently and collaboratively, while effectively managing time to meet deadlines.
· Utilize engagement, outreach, and health education initiatives to assess impact and effectiveness.
Qualifications:
Job Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in a relevant field 0-2 years of experience in a related disciplinePreferred Qualifications:
· Experience working with adolescents/teens and mental health services
· Experience in facilitation and presentation; classroom experience
· Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills with the ability to create materials for diverse audiences
· Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly PowerPoint and Excel
· LIW/LISW or LPC/LPCC licensure preferred
