As a DSP, you will play a crucial role in enhancing the quality of life for those you support. Your responsibilities will include providing personal assistance and facilitating engaging activities such as outings to parks, shopping trips, and social gatherings. You will be part of a diverse and inclusive team that values your contributions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist individuals with daily living activities and personal care.
  • Engage in community activities, ensuring a fulfilling experience.
  • Support communication efforts through gestures and assistive technology.
  • Maintain a safe and encouraging environment for individuals.

Work Environment:

This position requires a commitment to providing 2:1 support, meaning you will work closely with one individual while another team member manages household tasks. Expect to enjoy outdoor activities, including walks and outings, with the individuals you support.

Requirements:

  • Valid driver's license and reliable, insured transportation.
  • Must be at least 18 years old.
  • Background check and drug screening are mandatory.
  • Previous experience in a caregiving role is preferred but not required.
