Title: Talent Management Specialist Location: Remote POSITION SUMMARY:
We are seeking a skilled professional to join our team as a Talent Management Specialist to support the monitoring of personnel timecards, processing of employee requests (location change, telework, etc) and reporting of accurate metrics.
As a Talent Management Process Specialist, you will collaborate with the Talent Management team and directly interact with government personnel.
This position requires strong organizational and communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to prioritize tasks effectively. Experience in onboarding/in-processing or process design, particularly within the Federal government context, is preferred. The ideal candidate will be able to work independently, demonstrate strong problem-solving skills, and exhibit a high level of professionalism in their interactions with stakeholders. We are looking for someone who is able to work independently, take iniative, and overcome obstacles with tenacity.
This role will work closely with stakeholders from Boston Consulting Group (BCG), government contractors, and federal employees.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
Automated Time Attendance and Production System (AATAPS)
  • Ensure all government employees have reported their time for payroll, and supervisors have confirmed the employees' time.
  • Monitor ATAAPS timecards are completion, and report any errors to employees and their supervisors
  • Send reminders to government employees to complete timecards by completion date.
Memos & Telework for Government Personnel
  • Process Telework requests for new government personnel
  • Renew telework agreements for current government personnel
  • Process GEO Location Change Memos
Common Access Card (CAC) Tracking
  • Ensure the status of all individuals' CACs are properly reflected in CAC management system
  • Capture emails and monitor processes for CAC issuance and returns for both government and contract personnel
  • Follow up with individuals as needed to ensure all relevant CAC/onboarding inputs are received from Government employees and contractors
Metric Collection, Reporting and Analytics
  • Oversee and ensure proper collection of relevant metrics
  • Analyze and report out on metrics to proper Government leads
  • Reflect on analysis of metrics to continuously refine process through implementing changes and new initiatives
Other duties as assigned.
KEY REQUIREMENTS AND COMPETENCIES:
  • U.S. citizenship required
  • Government Clearance (Public Trust, Secret, or Top Secret) preferred, but not required
  • Holder of an active DHA CAC preferred, but not required
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in talent management, process management or process redesign preferred
  • Familiarity with Government employee & contractor onboarding and best practices within the Federal Government context
  • Familiarity with ICAM (Identity, Credential, and Access Management) and/or DEERS (Defense Enrollment Eligibility Reporting System) preferred
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Experience working in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office tools (e.g., PowerPoint, Excel) and teaming tools (e.g., Teams, Trello) preferred
  • Government consulting experience (specifically with a global consulting firm) preferred, but not required
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Operations, Business Administration, or related field is preferred
  • Ability to represent the BCG/BCG Fed brand well to a variety of external audiences, including search firms and candidates
  • Ability to handle difficult situations with poise, tact and to maintain confidentiality at all times and exhibit good judgment
