Consilio - Enterprise Talent Solutions is in search of a Records Management Specialist to assist a prominent client in providing exceptional service to both internal and external stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collecting and organizing boxes and files as requested by attorneys, administrative personnel, and paralegals.
  • Maintaining accurate records of incoming files within the firm's Records Management system; assessing which documents should be retained on-site or transferred to off-site storage in accordance with established protocols.
  • Generating daily transmittal reports to ensure all materials received are properly documented.
  • Handling retrieval requests for physical documents stored on-site or off-site, adhering to established procedures and ensuring alignment with courier schedules.
  • Filing new documents into existing folders managed by the department, whether stored on-site or off-site.
  • Reorganizing materials previously retrieved from off-site storage.
  • Processing requests for barcode labels within the firm's Records Management System, ensuring compliance with the required turnaround time for distribution.
  • Assisting in the management, tracking, and scheduling of shredding services.

Required Qualifications:

  • At least 3 years of experience in records management within a legal environment.
  • Capability to lift items weighing up to 40 pounds.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills, along with general clerical abilities.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple tasks independently in a dynamic environment with shifting priorities.
  • High level of integrity in handling confidential and sensitive information.
  • Willingness to work additional hours or shifts as needed.
