The Hiring Spot is seeking a highly skilled Human Resource Manager to join our team. This role will be responsible for representing, supporting, and sustaining the company's culture, policies, and mission.

This is an exciting opportunity for someone with a strong background in California compliance and employee relations. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in labor laws, industry trends, and employment legislation, and will be able to ensure the organization is in compliance with government reporting regulations and requirements.

The Human Resource Manager will serve as a strategic partner to leadership and a hands-on leader to management and employees. This person will be responsible for the oversight and administration of legal/compliance items, leave management, onboarding oversight, ongoing training and development facilitation/tracking, safety oversight, and payroll budget implementation.

The duties of this role will include:

  • Remain updated on labor laws, industry trends, employment legislation, and best practices in human resources.
  • Support and advise the executive management team on various HR-related items.
  • Ability to manage employee relations and resolve conflicts in a fair and timely manner.
  • Facilitate or conduct training programs on various compliance, employee development, and other personnel management areas for all staff.
  • Responsible for all aspects of leave of absence management.
  • Payroll budget oversight and implementation.
  • Safety oversight to include accident investigations and compliance of various state, federal, and other government agency requirements.

The ideal candidate will have a bachelor's degree in human resources, business administration, or a related field, and prior experience in a human resource management role. Strong foundation and knowledge of California employment laws is required. Prior experience working in Paycom software along with HRIS conversion experience is highly desirable.

The pay range for this role is $95,000 - $120,000 annually, depending on experience.
