Job Summary

The Catering Chef is a key member of our culinary team, responsible for leading by example in production, training, and team building. This role oversees food preparation and delivery for weddings, corporate events, and social gatherings, while supporting the Executive Chef and Leaders of Culinary Operations in managing the kitchen(s).

Responsibilities
  • Promote and Portray VIVMEE Values: Embody the core virtues of JOY, HUMILITY, and MINISTRY, which are the foundation of our team's culture.
  • Adhere to Company Policies and Procedures: Familiarize yourself with and comply with established guidelines to ensure seamless operations.
  • Food Preparation and Service: Prepare and serve all catering food items, including banquets, weddings, and special events.
  • Menu Planning and Implementation: Assist in menu planning, preparation, and execution, ensuring high-quality dishes that meet our guests' expectations.
  • Cleanliness and Organization: Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment, adhering to food safety guidelines and best practices.
  • Inventory Management: Monitor and manage food and dry goods inventory, ensuring accurate tracking and minimizing waste.
  • Employee Scheduling and Development: Manage employee schedules, provide training and guidance, and contribute to the growth and development of our culinary team.
  • Physical Demands: Lift up to 50lbs, push/pull up to 50lbs, and perform other tasks as assigned.
