Introduction

Your Role and Responsibilities

The Business Automation Solution Engineer acts as a trusted advisor and change agent, facilitating the transformation of business processes through Intelligent Automation by leveraging Octo's advanced Business Automation and AI solutions.

The selected candidate will:

  • Assess, analyze, and evaluate business processes, requirements, and user needs.
  • Independently design and architect effective solutions that align with overarching business strategies, addressing any operational bottlenecks.
  • Lead customer modernization workshops and prepare presentations that illustrate architectural solutions and design methodologies.
  • Engage hands-on with clients to assist in the implementation of proposed solutions.
Required Technical and Professional Expertise
  • Proven experience with Business Automation tools, including hands-on expertise in workflow management, rules processing, document ingestion, intelligent document processing, and content management systems.
  • Demonstrated ability to implement solution architectures from inception to completion, managing activities and technical risks while ensuring adherence to best practices.
  • Solid understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and familiarity with methodologies such as Waterfall and Agile, as well as CI/CD processes.
  • Experience with cloud solutions (IaaS, PaaS, SaaS) and a practical understanding of containerization and Kubernetes, with knowledge of OpenShift being advantageous.
  • Capability to lead and collaborate with senior client personnel to workshop, analyze, modernize, and optimize business processes, while working alongside skilled teams to deliver intelligent automation strategies throughout the design, build, test, and deployment phases.
Preferred Technical and Professional Expertise
  • Extensive experience in content management solutions for containers.
  • Proficient in developing content management solutions.
  • Experience in creating production workflow solutions.
  • Expertise in integrating and developing business automation solution architectures.
