POSITION SUMMARY:


The Event Operations Supervisor is tasked with training and guiding the banquet team to ensure the seamless execution of all banquet functions, ultimately driving repeat business.

This role will also support the Banquet Manager in overseeing all aspects of Banquet Operations, ensuring outstanding guest service and adherence to departmental policies and procedures, all while maintaining high productivity levels.


COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS INCLUDE:
$22.30-$27.55 per hour, based on relevant experience.

401K with dollar-for-dollar match up to 4%.

QUALIFICATIONS:
Must be available to work flexible shifts, including mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays.

A high school diploma or GED certification is preferred, along with relevant work experience.

Completion of Responsible Beverage Service (RBS) certification within 60 days of hire is required.

Excellent command of the English language, both written and verbal, is essential.

Strong interpersonal and leadership skills are necessary.

Basic mathematical skills are required.

Ability to clearly convey information and ideas, both orally and in writing.

Capability to quickly and accurately evaluate and select among alternative courses of action.

Ability to perform well in high-pressure situations, including effectively managing guest and team complaints with tact and diplomacy.

Proficiency in listening, understanding, and clarifying concerns and issues.

Effective problem-solving skills, including anticipating, preventing, identifying, and resolving issues as needed.

Strong organizational and administrative skills are a must.

Ability to access and accurately input information using a moderately complex computer system.

Capability to observe, detect, and calmly respond to emergency situations.

Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with management, team members, customers, and vendors.

Physical ability to reach overhead, lift, carry, push, pull, or otherwise move objects.

Ability to set up tables, chairs, dance floors, serving stations, and other catering equipment.

While performing job duties, the ability to complete documents, process requests, and operate office equipment such as calculators, computers, copiers, and faxes is required.
