Patient Services Representative

The role of the Contact Center Operator is essential in a dynamic setting, managing incoming communications for various primary care and specialty services. Each interaction with patients is conducted with professionalism, empathy, and reliability while performing a range of duties to effectively address the needs of the patient or caller. These responsibilities include managing appointment bookings, triaging phone inquiries, and collecting relevant information.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Deliver tailored customer support by addressing the requirements of the patient or caller.
  2. Handle incoming calls and fulfill patient or caller requests efficiently.
  3. Conduct outbound communications, which may involve rescheduling and confirming appointments as directed by management.
  4. Accurately schedule appointments - confirm the date, time, location, and provider details with the patient.
  5. Exercise sound judgment in managing calls and calming distressed callers.
Work Environment:
Location: In Person
Shift: Monday - Friday, Daytime
Hours per week: 40
Department: WHS Physicians Group
