Job Overview

The Customer Care Specialist operates within a dynamic setting, managing calls for various primary care and specialty services. Each interaction with patients is conducted with professionalism, empathy, and consistency while executing a range of duties to effectively address the needs of the patient or caller.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Deliver tailored customer support by addressing the inquiries of patients and callers.
  2. Handle incoming calls and fulfill patient or caller requests.
  3. Conduct outbound communications, including rescheduling and confirming appointments as directed by management.
  4. Accurately schedule appointments, ensuring to verify the date, time, location, and provider details with the patient.
  5. Utilize sound judgment to manage calls and de-escalate situations with upset callers.

Work Environment: In-Person

Work Schedule: Monday - Friday, Daytime

Weekly Hours: 40

Department: Washington Physician Services Org.
