We are looking for a dedicated Senior Identity and Access Management Engineer who will operate with minimal oversight within a specific IAM Domain, concentrating on significant and intricate projects.

This role requires an in-depth understanding of Identity & Access Management that extends beyond the immediate domain, recognizing the broader implications of their contributions.

They should have a robust grasp of general security frameworks and implementation models, along with a commitment to continuous professional development. They excel in gathering requirements, maintaining a customer-focused approach, and aligning technical goals with business strategies.

In this position, they will provide technical leadership, direction, and mentorship not only within their IAM Domain but also to junior team members outside of their area of expertise.

They will facilitate collaboration with external vendors, keep abreast of the latest IAM technologies and threats, and proactively implement measures to mitigate risks.


Primary Duties & Responsibilities:
Demonstrate strong leadership capabilities in Identity Governance and Administration (IGA), particularly with SailPoint IdentityIQ. Capable of executing the most complex development tasks independently within their domain, while seeking assistance from colleagues for cross-domain challenges. Manage highly intricate issues autonomously, with occasional support from team members for the most challenging problems. Begin to gain mastery across multiple IAM Domains. Define the application of Identity & Access Management and associated tools within their specific IAM Domain(s).


Contribute to the overarching IAM Strategy for the domains they represent, showcasing an advanced understanding of Identity & Access Management beyond their immediate domain and its impact on others.

Establish knowledge of engineering best practices within their IAM Domain(s). Lead the design of IAM solutions, taking into account scalability, security, and usability requirements across their domain(s). Stay informed about IAM technologies, trends, and emerging threats, proactively implementing necessary risk mitigation strategies.

Collaborate with external vendors and partners to assess IAM tools and services. Exhibit advanced skills in requirements gathering, viewing challenges from the customer's perspective, and aligning technical objectives with business goals. Capable of troubleshooting or analyzing the most complex process issues, identifying root causes, and recommending efficiencies or providing formal reporting. Offer insights to senior staff on resolving new or intricate issues. Demonstrate a strong desire for continuous learning and improvement. Qualifications:
