Position Overview
The Senior Manager of Reliability Engineering - Services will spearhead the strategy, function, and team dedicated to Reliability Engineering Services.

This role involves crafting strategies and operational frameworks to deliver exceptional services, including reliability consulting, remote monitoring, analytics, and on-site support, aimed at enhancing clients' Maintenance & Reliability excellence practices.

The individual will collaborate closely with Product Management, Engineering, and Leadership teams to formulate a cohesive strategy that integrates our services with platform initiatives, ensuring that service insights are effectively communicated to clients through our Perceptiv platform while transitioning predictive and prescriptive reliability insights into it.

Key Responsibilities
- Provide daily leadership to the Reliability Engineering Services team, managing global resources effectively.
- Develop and implement a strategic plan to enhance Perceptiv Reliability Engineering Services' unique offerings and roadmap.
- Design service offerings tailored to specific market segments, including value positioning, service scope, collateral, and pricing.
- Oversee the delivery of consulting, educational, and implementation services to clients, ensuring resource management, project execution, and operational success metrics are met.
- Be accountable for financial objectives and metrics related to Services, including orders, revenue, gross margin, and employee utilization.
- Manage operational metrics such as time-to-value, customer satisfaction, and timely project completion.
- Build and scale global service operations (people, processes, systems, and tools) to provide a superior customer experience while establishing effective delivery methodologies.
- Coordinate the services team to execute customer projects safely and successfully for on-site services.
- Contribute to marketing communications for the creation of collateral, white papers, and videos aligned with related campaigns and service productization.
- Partner with Product Management and Engineering teams to develop a multi-year roadmap for integrating Reliability Engineering predictive and prescriptive analytics into the Perceptiv platform.
- Participate as a member of the Perceptiv leadership team to foster growth and maturity in this rapidly expanding area.
- Formulate strategies that disrupt the market and distinctly position Perceptiv, including crafting a long-term vision and strategy for reliability services.
- Act as the representative for reliability services within the company and industry for Perceptiv.

Additionally, the role includes overseeing the generation of diagnostics and monitoring reports for end users and stakeholders, which encompasses analyzed vibration and torque data with prescriptive recommendations.

Responsibilities also include creating presentations about our solutions, applications, projects, products, customer success stories, and strategies, and delivering them both in-person and virtually at customer sites, internally, and at trade shows.

Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering preferred; MS or MBA is a plus.
- Over 10 years of experience in industrial manufacturing, ideally with a focus on rotating machinery, remote condition monitoring, and industrial networking & controls.
- More than 10 years of industrial reliability experience across diverse industries and applications.
- At least 5 years of experience managing and leading a Professional Services organization.
- Proven expertise in various sensing modalities (e.g., vibration, current, torque) and applications.
- Extensive reliability expertise across targeted industries such as Food & Beverage, Intralogistics, Metals, Mining, and Heavy Industry.
- Strong understanding of plant operations, industrial machinery, and maintenance best practices.
- Demonstrated experience in building and leading cross-functional teams (e.g., reliability engineers, business development managers, customer success managers, project managers).
- Proven track record in scaling a professional services business with accountability for financial targets, preferably in a subscription-based model.
- Familiarity with analog signal processing (trending, waveform, and spectral analysis) and/or Criticality Analysis is preferred.
- Experience in developing analytical tools to automate reliability reports to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of the Reliability Engineering Team.
- Strong customer-facing skills with a focus on customer service and the ability to create service packages, standards, and programs that best support clients.
- Knowledge of key industrial reliability metrics, including cost avoidance, unplanned downtime, and OEE.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Certification as a Maintenance & Reliability Professional (CMRP) is a plus.
- Certification as a Vibration Analyst is a plus.
- Exceptional communication, facilitation, and presentation skills, both verbal and written.
- Strong customer-facing, conflict resolution, and negotiation skills.
- Effective collaborator capable of functioning in a matrix and team environment.
- Strong analytical skills.
- Proven ability to develop talent and foster a positive culture.
Travel Requirements: Approximately 35%
