Position Overview
The Senior Manager of Reliability Engineering Services will spearhead the strategy and operations of the Reliability Engineering Services team.

This role involves crafting strategies and operational frameworks to deliver exceptional services, including reliability consulting, remote monitoring, analytics, and on-site support, aimed at enhancing clients' Maintenance & Reliability excellence practices.

The individual will collaborate closely with Product Management, Engineering, and Leadership teams to devise a cohesive strategy that integrates service offerings with platform strategies, ensuring that service insights are effectively communicated to clients through our Perceptiv platform while transitioning predictive and prescriptive reliability insights into the platform.

Key Responsibilities
- Provide daily leadership to the Reliability Engineering Services team, managing global resources effectively.
- Formulate and implement a strategic plan to develop and enhance Perceptiv Reliability Engineering Services, including differentiated service offerings and a clear roadmap.
- Design service offerings tailored to specific market segments, encompassing value positioning, service scope, collateral, and pricing strategies.
- Oversee the delivery of consulting, education, and implementation services to clients, ensuring resource management, project execution, and operational success metrics are met.
- Be accountable for achieving financial targets and metrics for Services, including orders, revenue, gross margin, and employee utilization.
- Manage operational metrics such as time-to-value, customer satisfaction, and timely project completion.
- Build and scale global service operations, focusing on people, processes, systems, and tools to ensure a superior customer experience while establishing effective delivery methodologies.
- Coordinate the services team to safely and successfully execute client projects for on-site services.
- Contribute to marketing communications by generating collateral, white papers, and videos in conjunction with related campaigns and service offerings.
- Collaborate with Product Management and Engineering teams to create a multi-year roadmap for integrating Reliability Engineering predictive and prescriptive analytics into the Perceptiv platform.
- Participate as a member of the Perceptiv leadership team to foster growth and maturity in this high-growth sector.
- Develop strategies that disrupt the market and distinctly differentiate Perceptiv, including establishing a long-term vision and strategy for reliability services.
- Represent the reliability services function to the company and industry for Perceptiv.

Additionally, the role includes generating diagnostics and monitoring reports for end users and stakeholders, which entails analyzing vibration and torque data and providing prescriptive recommendations.

Prepare presentations on our solutions, applications, projects, products, customer success stories, and strategies, delivering them both in-person and virtually at various venues.

Lead the creation of documentation and programs related to Perceptiv Services solutions and their application, including case studies, best practices, instruction manuals, and FAQs.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering preferred; MS or MBA is a plus.
- Over 10 years of experience in industrial manufacturing, particularly with rotating machinery, remote condition monitoring, and industrial networking & controls.
- More than 10 years of industrial reliability experience across diverse industries and applications.
- At least 5 years of experience managing and leading a Professional Services organization.
- Proven expertise in various sensing modalities (e.g., vibration, current, torque) and their applications.
- Extensive experience and reliability knowledge across targeted industries such as Food & Beverage, Intralogistics, Metals, Mining, and Heavy Industry.
- Strong understanding of plant operations, industrial machinery, and maintenance best practices.
- Demonstrated ability to build and lead a cross-functional team of professionals, including reliability engineers, business development managers, customer success managers, and project managers.
- Experience in scaling a professional services business with accountability for financial targets, preferably in a subscription-based model.
- Familiarity with analog signal processing and/or Criticality Analysis is preferred.
- Experience in developing analytical tools to automate reliability reports, enhancing the efficiency and effectiveness of the Reliability Engineering Team.
- Strong customer-facing skills with a focus on service excellence, voice-of-customer, and the ability to create service packages and standards to support clients.
- Knowledge of key industrial reliability metrics, including cost avoidance, unplanned downtime, and OEE.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Certification as a Maintenance & Reliability Professional (CMRP) is a plus.
- Certification as a Vibration Analyst is a plus.
- Strong communication, facilitation, and presentation skills, both verbal and written.
- Proficient in customer engagement, conflict resolution, and negotiation.
- Excellent collaborator capable of functioning effectively in a matrix and team environment.
- Strong analytical capabilities.
- Committed to developing talent and fostering a positive culture.
