Civil Engineering Project Leader

Ardurra is looking for a Project Manager to enhance our operations.
Overview
This position offers a unique opportunity to contribute to the expanding Ardurra family within our Transportation and Site/Civil Engineering sectors. You will play a crucial role in overseeing and designing a diverse range of stimulating transportation and civil engineering projects across the region. These projects encompass various areas, including infrastructure for DOT, municipal and city developments, industrial sites, parks and recreational facilities, residential and commercial developments, as well as drainage and stormwater management.
Key Responsibilities
Oversee and provide design assistance for a variety of transportation and civil engineering initiatives (both public and private) to bolster our Transportation and Site/Civil Engineering sectors. Collaborate frequently with other engineering divisions (transportation, public works, water/wastewater, and surveying) within Ardurra. Support client interactions, manage budgets and timelines, ensuring projects are delivered on schedule and within financial constraints. Aid in the preparation of project proposals, scope definitions, fee structures, and responses to RFPs. Organize, plan, and supervise design efforts for complex civil engineering projects (e.g., multi-structure facilities requiring extensive collaboration with various consultants and disciplines). Regularly coordinate with project design team members, clients, contractors, subconsultants, and representatives from permitting agencies. Prepare and evaluate technical engineering reports and calculations. Facilitate collaboration during project construction administration by engaging with the construction team/general contractor, reviewing shop drawings/submittals, and addressing requests for information (RFIs).Qualifications and Experience
Possession of a Professional Engineering (PE) License. At least 5 years of experience in Project Management. Engineering and design experience in the Southwest US, particularly New Mexico, is preferred. Proficiency in AutoCAD and Civil 3D. Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering.
