Job Overview

Martin/Martin, Inc. is seeking a seasoned Senior Project Engineer to enhance our Albuquerque, New Mexico office. This role presents opportunities for civil engineering design across New Mexico and the Southwest, focusing on site and land development. Key Responsibilities

The following responsibilities are representative and not exhaustive:

  • Facilitates conceptual design processes.
  • Contributes to fee assessments and proposal drafting.
  • Completes Project Setup Forms and reviews work authorizations.
  • Develops a QA/QC strategy for each project.
  • Mentors junior engineers and supports their professional growth.
  • Participates in project meetings, representing Martin/Martin, Inc. during design and construction phases.
  • Ensures timely collection of account receivables.
Qualifications

Essential Qualifications:

  • A minimum of ten years of progressive experience in civil engineering design.
  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering.
  • Exceptional time management and organizational abilities.
  • Self-driven and capable of independent work for extended durations.
  • Strong written, technical, and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Dedicated to client service and a collaborative team approach.
  • Detail-oriented, committed to delivering high-quality work and excellent client service.
  • Able to engage with a diverse range of clients, regulators, and authorities.
  • Demonstrated marketing and business development expertise.
  • Possesses a PE license in New Mexico or the capability to obtain one within three months.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with AutoCAD/Civil3D for civil construction documentation.
  • In-depth knowledge of municipal, commercial, and related site development projects.
