Role Summary:
We are looking for a seasoned Senior Project Engineer to enhance our team in the Albuquerque, New Mexico office. This position involves engaging in civil design projects across New Mexico and the Southwest, with a primary focus on site and land development. The successful candidate will demonstrate initiative and possess strong marketing capabilities. NxT Level is dedicated to fostering a client-centric and employee-focused environment.
Key Responsibilities:
The following responsibilities are indicative and not exhaustive:
- Assist in the initial design concepts.
- Participate in fee assessments and proposal development.
- Complete necessary project documentation and review work authorizations.
- Develop a quality assurance/quality control plan for each project.
- Guide junior engineers and facilitate their professional growth.
- Represent NxT Level in project meetings throughout design and construction phases.
- Ensure timely follow-up on account receivables.
Qualifications:
Essential Requirements:
- A minimum of ten years of progressive experience in civil engineering design.
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering.
- Exceptional time management and organizational abilities.
- Self-driven with the capacity to work independently for extended periods.
- Strong written, technical, and interpersonal communication skills.
- Dedication to client service and a collaborative approach.
- Meticulous attention to detail, ensuring high-quality deliverables and excellent client service.
- Ability to engage with a diverse array of clients, regulatory bodies, and authorities.
- Demonstrated marketing and business development expertise.
- Professional Engineer (PE) license in New Mexico or the ability to obtain one promptly.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Proficiency in AutoCAD/Civil3D for producing civil construction documents.
- Strong familiarity with municipal, commercial, and related site development projects.
