Role Summary:

We are looking for a seasoned Senior Project Engineer to enhance our team in the Albuquerque, New Mexico office. This position involves engaging in civil design projects across New Mexico and the Southwest, with a primary focus on site and land development. Key Responsibilities:

The following responsibilities are indicative and not exhaustive:

  • Assist in the initial design concepts.
  • Participate in fee assessments and proposal development.
  • Complete necessary project documentation and review work authorizations.
  • Develop a quality assurance/quality control plan for each project.
  • Guide junior engineers and facilitate their professional growth.
  • Represent NxT Level in project meetings throughout design and construction phases.
  • Ensure timely follow-up on account receivables.

Qualifications:

Essential Requirements:

  • A minimum of ten years of progressive experience in civil engineering design.
  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering.
  • Exceptional time management and organizational abilities.
  • Self-driven with the capacity to work independently for extended periods.
  • Strong written, technical, and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Dedication to client service and a collaborative approach.
  • Meticulous attention to detail, ensuring high-quality deliverables and excellent client service.
  • Ability to engage with a diverse array of clients, regulatory bodies, and authorities.
  • Demonstrated marketing and business development expertise.
  • Professional Engineer (PE) license in New Mexico or the ability to obtain one promptly.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Proficiency in AutoCAD/Civil3D for producing civil construction documents.
  • Strong familiarity with municipal, commercial, and related site development projects.
