Overview
In this position, you will have the chance to become a vital part of the expanding Ardurra family within our Transportation and Site/Civil Engineering sectors. Your role will involve overseeing and designing a diverse range of stimulating transportation and civil engineering/land development initiatives across the region. This encompasses projects such as municipal infrastructure, industrial developments, parks and recreational areas, residential and commercial projects, as well as drainage/stormwater management and public works.
Key Responsibilities
Lead and provide design oversight on various transportation and civil engineering projects (both public and private) to bolster our Transportation and Site/Civil Engineering sectors. Engage in regular collaboration with other engineering divisions (transportation, public works, water/wastewater, and surveying) within Ardurra. Support client interactions, manage budgets and timelines, ensuring projects are delivered on schedule and within budget. Assist in the preparation of project proposals, scope of work, fee structures, and responses to RFPs. Organize, plan, and supervise design activities for a range of intricate civil engineering projects (e.g., multi-structure facilities requiring extensive collaboration with various consultants and disciplines). Coordinate consistently with project design team members, clients, contractors, subconsultants, and representatives from permitting agencies. Draft and review technical engineering reports and calculations. Facilitate collaboration during project construction administration by liaising with the construction team/general contractor, reviewing shop drawings/submittals, and addressing requests for information (RFIs).Qualifications and Experience
Professional Engineering (PE) License. At least 5 years of experience in Project Management. Engineering and design experience in the Southwest US, particularly New Mexico, is preferred. Proficiency in AutoCAD and Civil 3D. Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering. Skills in business development and client relationship management. Strong financial management acumen.
